Saying that if the recipient has read Le Figaro he will have learned before Massenet that "les Couronnes" have arrived and that customs has declared them under the heading of "Racines Médicinales!," adding that he is orchestrating Manon and has been harnessed to that labor for four or five months, mentioning M. Lachmann (with two measures of music), etc.
